OVERVIEW

PROCESS

Through background research, workshop facilitation, internal interviews, brainstorming, and sketching I created a service design blue print for guided programs.

Service Design Blueprint

RESEARCH & DESIGN

Following the workshop, I used the affinity wall building method to synthesize the findings and identify the areas that would be most impactful when integrating activities into guided programs.

How will users benefit from the integration of interactive activities?

Sketches

After facilitating the workshop, synthesizing findings, and engaging in brainstorming, I sketched over 20 design ideas and narrowed down this list to just five impactful interactive activities.

Low-fidelity Mock-ups

Save your streak

This activity provides an opportunity for Headspace members to save their streak within guided programs.

Community engagement

This prompt enables Headspace members to share reflections with either their coach and community. It also provides an option for members to save their reflections.

Coach request

This prompt enables Headspace members to request a coach before starting their guided program.

Tactile reflections

This serves as a “reward” or “bonus” for members that have completed their first module. It encourages them to take their learnings beyond the phone screen.

Chatbot support

This engagement with the Headspace chatbot encourages users to practice wellness activities and learnings beyond the sessions provided in guided programs.

TAKEAWAYS

When creating a service design blueprint that incorporates integrated activities to enhance the user experience, it's crucial to consider the 'why,' 'what,' and 'how' aspects.

This entails understanding how these activities directly influence members, contributing to their
goal achievement within the program, and supporting continued engagement while promoting
habit-building.

This project aimed to enhance guided programs by introducing engaging interactive activities. The objective was to envision a more aspirational and user-centric guided program experience through service desig.

Following several iterations, a service design blueprint was developed.
